Lucy Lazure is a painting company that specializes in the wall painting technique of lazure along with other mural work and smaller custom works.

What is Lazure?

Lazuring is a technique that gives a feeling of well being to inside spaces. Most walls in the world are painted a single shade or color, reconfirming a confined space. Lazuring gives the eyes places to travel to and gives a two dimensional surface some much appreciated depth.

Lazured spaces move beyond four walls. It is as if one is in nature looking at the sea, trees, mountains or sky.

It is most commonly seen in Waldorf classrooms or in Anthroposophical Communities. Lucy Lazure is passionate about bringing this color and warmth to all spaces including businesses, homes, centers and schools.

Lucy Lazure was created by Lucy MacArthur, a Waldorf graduate, education consultant, and Healer in The Modern Mystery School. Growing up in a Waldorf classroom, Lucy quickly learned the power and beauty of color. She received her B.A. in Fine Art from Kalamazoo College and began to study the Anthroposophical forces of color during M.Ed. studies at Antioch University. She is always looking at how spaces can be enhanced and brightened, whether that is at home, school, or work!

Lucy is concerned primarily with what color will support a space and the people using it. In combination with her understanding of color, she uses a collaborative process with all of her clients.

Crystal Gridding

My work of making spaces feel peaceful and whole has extended to Crystal Gridding, which makes homes that much cozier and protected. This is a separate practice and is handed down through the Modern Mystery School. It goes with the same theme of making spaces feel amazing.
